There are a lot of really cool things I get to do in my job as the manager of the Indy Flute Shop, and one of them is to stay in touch with people in the music field whom I have known for a long, long time! Today I have the pleasure of sharing one of those people with you today: Mr. Ned Boyd, Director of Bands for Logansport schools. Mr. Boyd (as he will insist I DON’T call him anymore) was as assistant director when I was in high school at Lafayette Jefferson many years ago, and since then he has taken the position of overseeing all three band programs in Logansport. He is a wonderfully accomplished musician (he used to play saxophone in the band for The Temptations!!), an amazing educator, and an all-around great guy. Please enjoy learning more about one of my musical influences, Ned Boyd.
