Have you ever heard of Greg Pattillo? Even if you haven’t, I bet you have–his YouTube videos, showcasing the famous “beatbox flute player,” have been viewed over 50 million times. A classically trained performer who graduated with his bachelors and masters degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music, Greg began performing and carving out his own niche of flute playing after moving to New York City. He now lives in Brooklyn with his family and tours the country, both solo and with his groundbreaking group, the Project Trio.
We were lucky enough to have Greg join us at Paige’s Music for a free clinic in September 2013–I don’t think there have ever been more people packed into our sales area!!
