Are you wanting to explore some different flute genres and pieces but don’t know where to start? Have you been recruited to make some beautiful music in your church or neighborhood and are scrambling to find some music that can be prepared in a short time? Never fear! There are some great resources available for flutists (and other musicians, as well) that I wanted to cover.

IMSLP
The IMSLP is an online music library dedicated to making public domain music accessible to all. If you don’t know what you’re looking for, it can be a bit overwhelming–there is so much to see! However, if you know a particular composer or piece you are looking for, it is very helpful. Here are some very accessible pieces available on this site:

Flute with easy-ish Piano
=========================
1. Quantz Sonatas: https://www.flutetunes.com/composers.php?id=355

Also:
Telemann Sonatas at IMSLP http://imslp.org/ and other free sheetmusic sites like Flutetunes.com .
Obviously some elderly editions are not of use if they’re too funky looking script-wise and have no fully realized piano parts. So check both sites.
